A city-centre hotel, a Georgian B&B, two guest houses and a set of serviced apartments — five independent Canterbury properties that run on Stayvieo every day. Working closely with them is why the software is shaped the way it is.

Most property management systems are designed a long way from the front desk. Stayvieo is shaped by the people who use it to check guests in. A great deal of it was settled by a real morning in one of these houses — what the front desk needs at eight o'clock, what happens when a channel goes quiet, what a two-person team can realistically keep on top of between breakfasts.

Two of these properties were on a well-known PMS before. The other three were on nothing at all, because at three or four rooms the per-room pricing made a booking system impossible to justify. That is the gap Stayvieo was built to close, and it is why plans start from £39 a month with every module included and no commission on your bookings.

Each of these properties is independently owned and run by its own team. What they need on a busy Saturday is what decides what we build next.
